1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to bookings, estimates, inspections, MOT testing, servicing, diagnostics, and repairs provided by Birmingham Auto Centre Ltd.
2. Booking and Estimates
- Quotes and online estimates are indicative until the vehicle is inspected.
- Booking dates and times are subject to workshop capacity and parts availability.
- We may contact you to confirm, move, or update your booking where required.
3. Additional Work
If further faults are found, we will explain the issue and provide updated pricing before extra chargeable work is carried out.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- You should provide accurate vehicle details and contact information.
- You must disclose known faults and warning lights where possible.
- Vehicles should be road legal unless pre-arranged for recovery/transport.
5. Payments
- Payment is due on collection unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Invoices include VAT where applicable.
- Replaced parts may be retained for warranty or disposal compliance unless requested otherwise.
6. MOT Testing
MOT tests are conducted under DVSA rules. A pass cannot be guaranteed. Failures and advisories will be explained with available repair options.
7. Warranty and Liability
- Any parts/labour warranty offered is limited to the specific repair carried out.
- We are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded by law.
8. Cancellations
Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange a booking.
9. Communications, Reminders, and Promotions
We may send service communications about your booking and work completed. Where you have agreed, we may also send MOT reminders, servicing reminders, and relevant promotional messages. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
